Bay Pines VAHCS to Host Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration – May 16

Bay Pines, Fla. – The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System will host an Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration “A Fair with Flair” on Thursday, May 16, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the JC Cobb room located on the first floor of Building 100 at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center. The event will feature entertainment, live demonstrations, cultural dances and displays, crafts, tropical herbs and plants, and facts and information about Asian countries and islands.
Special guest speaker Dr. Miguel LaPuz, VISN 8 Network Director, will also present his inspiring story. Read more about Dr. LaPuz here.
