Bay Pines VA to Host Domestic Violence Awareness Walk on Oct. 30

Participants encouraged to “turn the medical center campus purple”
BAY PINES, FL – October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (VAHCS) is bringing awareness to this important issue by hosting an awareness walk at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center Campus on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The walk will start between buildings 100 and 1 and will continue around Timuchuan Lake. Click here to view the event location. The event is open to the public. Participants are encouraged to wear purple attire to the event which symbolizes support and advocacy of domestic violence victims.
