Naples Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) to Close on Sept 8 Due to Irma

BAY PINES, FL – The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (VAHCS) emergency management officials are actively monitoring Hurricane Irma as it continues its general path toward South Florida.  Due to anticipated severe weather associated with the storm, the Naples Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) will be closed on Friday, September 8, 2017.  

The clinic is scheduled to be reopened on Monday, September 11, 2017 for regular business hours, unless communicated otherwise. Patients will be contacted by VA staff to reschedule appointments as soon as possible.

“While the path of the storm and potential impact remains unclear, it is our responsibility to ensure the safety of Veterans and the professionals who staff the clinic,” said Suzanne M. Klinker, Director, Bay Pines VAHCS.

“All VA employees, Veterans and their loved ones are asked to continue taking necessary hurricane preparedness actions in anticipation of severe weather,” she said.
