The Bay Pines annual Veterans Day ceremony was held on November 11 to honor America's Veterans and Service Members. The crowd, estimated at over 1,600 showed their unwavering support for the millions who have served our country. The ceremony included musical performances by Keswick Christian High School, artwork displays, a March of Colors by various Veterans Service Organizations, JROTC units, and Boy Scouts, guests speakers, a wreath presentation and firing salute. Military vehicles were also on display courtesy of the Military Vehicle Preservation Association.Â
By far, the crowd’s favorite portions of the ceremony were the keynote address provided by Mike Jernigan, US Marine injured in Iraq, and the flyover courtesy of the United States Coast Guard.Â
The crowd sat in the new courtyard, courtesy of Bay Pines Environmental Management Service, under the shade of our old oak trees; the weather could not have been better for such a memorable program.Â
Bay Pines would like to thank all of those who worked to make this program such a success along with the hundreds who attended to offer their support for America's Veterans.  Click here to view pictures from the ceremony taken by Bay Pines' Medical Media Department.Â
