Bay Pines VA Extends Primary Health Care Hours at Select Locations

BAY PINES, FL — The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (VAHCS) is now offering extended appointment hours for Veterans requiring primary care, including women’s health and general mental health services, at select locations across southwest Florida.
Starting April 10, extended hours for primary care services will be available on Wednesdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the following locations:
Bay Pines VA Medical Center (primary medical center campus)
Lee County VA Healthcare Center – Cape Coral, Fla.
Port Charlotte Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) – Port Charlotte, Fla.
Bradenton CBOC – Bradenton, Fla.
Sarasota CBOC – Sarasota, Fla.
Primary care services during days of extended hours are by appointment only. Veterans who require "walk-in" services are strongly encouraged to do so during normal business hours – 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As always, Veterans who require emergency care should dial 911 or visit the closest emergency room.
