Parking Garage
The Bay Pines VAHCS has been approved to add a much needed parking garage at the Bay Pines VAMC campus. The garage is expected to hold approximately 550 vehicles. BlueForge LLC *, a service disabled veteran owned small business, won the $9.9 million contract and is overseeing design and construction of the structure. The project is currently under construction. The new garage is set to open in Spring 2013. While the garage will primarily be designated for patient parking only, the structure is expected to alleviate overflowing lots across campus to include employee parking.
