PGY1 Residency at Lee County Healthcare Center

Purpose Statement

The purpose of this program is to create clinically-sound residents capable of functioning proficiently in an ambulatory care environment. The resident will gain the ability and confidence to adjust medication therapy in specialty clinics such as anticoagulation, diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. Upon successful completion of this residency program, the resident will be prepared to work as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in an ambulatory care facility.

  5. Pharmacy Administration/ Management
  6. Pharmacy Benefit Management - Formulary rotation
