Bay Pines VA Healthcare System provides a full range of services, with state-of-the-art technology, as well as education and research.
Bay Pines is affiliated with the University of South Florida College of Medicine* and Nova Southeastern University, School of Osteopathic Medicine*. We offer residency training in all major medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. Associated Health Training is offered in nursing, psychology, audiology, dental, dietetics, and pharmacy.
Bay Pines has increased our residency slots to 41.9 medical residents. Training is also provided to over 700 medical students, nursing, and associated health trainees annually.
Bay Pines maintains a good working relationship with all of our Veteran Service Organization (VSO) partners. We regularly brief our VSO representatives on changes impacting Veterans' health care.
