Diabetes Care

GENERAL RESIDENCY INFORMATION
The resident will work as part of a multidisciplinary team focusing on the management of diabetes and cardiovascular disease in an ambulatory care setting.  Completing this residency should provide the incumbent with adequate knowledge to seek credentialing as a Certified Diabetes Educator.  The residency will also allow the opportunity to improve management skills through precepting students and PGY1 residents, as well as contributing to the development of new programs, clinics, and research.  Elective opportunities will allow exploration of other interests and provide a more tailored approach to your PGY2 experience!
