Anticipated Expenses - Dietetic Internship Program

 


The availability of a stipend varies on an annual basis, but is approximately $10,100 is paid throughout the course of the internship.

Interns selected for the program should anticipate the following expenses:

  1. Housing:  Apartments in the Bay Area typical average from $800 - $1000 per month. Listings for the area may be found at www.apartmentguide.com* or the local St. Petersburg newspaper available on line at www.StPeteTimes.com*
  2. Personal expenses.
  3. Student professional liability insurance ($35.00).
  4. Textbooks/reference manuals ($100.00).
  5. Registration fees and expenses for professional meetings (~$150.00).
  6. Affiliate membership dues for the American Dietetics Association ($25.00)
  7. Optional graduate credit expenses are:  $2,267.82 for Florida residents and $8,073.45 for non-residents for the current academic year.
